Renaissance
Couple
More than 40 couples entered the Chivalry Sports Romantic Renaissance Couple Photo Contest. There were many beautiful pictures and we want to share the top 10 finalists with you and ask for your votes. You have two weeks to vote and the top three will be the winners of the Gift Certificates from Chivalry Sports.
The theme of Love has brought out the finest in everyone. Many of the pictures were taken at the weddings of our Renaissance couples or on their honeymoon trips.
Entry 4: Sean and Heather Hastings. We find a handsome gentleman paying court to his lovely redhead Lady amidst a sunlit garden, no doubt on the grounds of a magnificent palace.
Entry 5: This was couple caught on film at the moment when Mike Holzer proposed to Heather Dreier. You can see her surprise as he kneels holding up an engagement ring and a poem.
Entry 14: Nate and Jackie Squarebush look like they just stepped out off of a movie set or out of painting.
Entry 17, Roberta and John Chapman were married at the Holly Michgan Renaissance Festival for the cause of true love.
Entry 19: Ariel and Chris Kottke—the newly wedded couple are caught unguarded as they finally escape from all the well-wishers and family for a private moment together.
Entry 20: Romance can sweep you up at any age and what could be more romantic than Jean de Montbard and Engel bon Karlswalde on their wedding day riding on horseback across the heath to plight their troth in a meadow.
Entry 22: Though Eric threatens his fiance with a cutlass, this pirate is obviously charming the Lady, and Guinevere Rayburn is loving every minute of it.
Entry 32. We had many pictures of lovers kissing and this photo of D'Ann and Robert Jordan was the most tender and beautifully photographed. Ahh, beso me mucho!
Entry 36: Matthew Connelly, the galant knight in shining armor, kneels to pledge his undying love to his gracious Lady, Maria Connelly, who tenderly smiles on him with encouragement.
Entry 39: Melissa and Duane Sutton must be the happiest looking couple in all the pictures that we received. Their mirth and goodwill just bubble over and invite us into the merriment. |
