What if I fit most of the measurements but not all?
Since
body shapes vary you may not fall into one size
perfectly. If you are shorter or taller than this chart you may be short
or long waisted. Likewise if you fit the chart in all but the breast then
you may need a buxom cut. Use the most critical measurements.
How do I know if the measurement is critical?
Any tight garment, like a Bodice, Jerkin or Irish
Dress, needs to fit as closely as possible. The waist measurement is the
most important. If the waist is too big, the garment won't have the right
look. You can only cinch it in so far with a belt. If it is marked "snug fit" choose the size
that is closest to your waist size without going over. For items marked "relaxed fit" the
chose whatever is closest to the waist size. Items marked "generous fit" are very loose fitting so choose the size based on height,
rather than bust, waist, or hip measurement.
What about hem length on tighter garments?
We gauge our hems by the tallest size in each category. If you are tall for your size you may need to lengthen your skirts. You can let out the hem
on some of the garments or you can easily add your own
trim to make it longer or just wear it ankle length. If you are shorter, you may need to hem the
skirt.
Do you have any discount for volume purchasing?
Yes,
there is a Wedding discount that you can ask for
even if you are not ordering for a wedding. So whether you are ordering
for a play or something else, if you meet the same requirements for order
